Sounds of Christmas Concert
The 2022 National Champion Joliet American Legion Band will host its 39th annual Sounds of Christmas Concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Rialto Square Theatre, 102 N. Chicago St., Joliet.
The concert will feature a tribute to Director Emeritus Tom Drake. The Dixie Bandits will provide pre-concert entertainment at 1 p.m. in the Rotunda.
Tickets are free in exchange of a generous donation of non-perishable food and or paper products that will be given to Catholic Charities — Daybreak Center of Joliet.
Tickets will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at American Legion Post 1080 on Ingalls Avenue in Joliet.
They also will be available at the Rialto box office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, and from 1o a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, and Friday, Dec. 9. If there are any remaining tickets, they will be available at the door on the day of the event.
