Joliet Central Community Connections Health, Job, & Get Involved Expo!
Joliet Central High School will host a community-wide resource fair, open to everyone, packed with valuable resources, fun, and learning opportunities for all, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Joliet Central High School from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the school, 201 E. The event will feature a community resource fair, job expo, health screenings, health & wellness talks, food trucks, musical entertainment, and much more!
This year’s event will feature a performance from Joliet’s own Mariachi de Joliet and the Will County Sheriff’s Hidden in Plain Sight Trailer. The trailer recreates a teen’s bedroom to help adults identify everyday items that may signal risky behaviors, such as substance abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, violence.
From 5 to 6 p.m., there will be performances, food trucks and expos. Following from 6 to 8 p.m. will be the Health & Wellness Talks, Hidden in Plain Sight Trailer, Food Trucks & Expos.
